M-DEXTRIΝ PURE MALTODEXTRIN 600G

M-Dextrin is an energizing supplement made from Maltodextrins (19 D.E.). Dextrose Equivalent (D.E.) is a complexity scale of various maltodextrins and generally ranges from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 20. As a general rule, the higher the Dextrose Equivalent value is, the shorter polysaccharide chains are and so absorption and utilization modalities will be faster. Digestion takes too long when assuming carbohydrates with other aliments during workout, depriving energies from other physiological processes. For this reason, carbohydrates and especially maltodextrins are assumed with food supplements; maltodextrins, in fact, taken during workout or a competition, ensure a constant supply of energy, maintaining blood glucose relatively stable.
